This premium heritage woven blanket honors the Cronin family crest against the Irish National Tartan.

The Cronin Name in Ireland

The Irish is Ó Cróinín, formed on crón, meaning swarthy or dark-brown — one of the many Irish surnames that began as a description of an ancestor. The sept belongs to the Corca Laoighdhe of southwest Cork, first seated in the country around Clonakilty, and the name thickened through Munster into Kerry and Limerick. It remains overwhelmingly a Munster name, and Cork still holds the greatest share of its people.

How the Cronin Blanket Is Made

The cloth is the canvas and the yarn is the ink. Crest and tartan are woven in 100% premium cotton and finished with traditional fringed edges.

Product Details

Material: 100% premium cotton yarn

Construction: woven, not printed

Available sizes: 52 × 37 inches, 60 × 50 inches, and 80 × 60 inches

Finish: traditional fringed edges

Care: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle; tumble dry low

Made to soften with age and never wear out of the family.

More for the Cronin Family

The Cronin family crest also appears on mugs, apparel, ornaments, and wall décor across the Celtic Ancestry Gifts range.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0649/2546/6675/files/cronin-irish-woven-blanket-cork-family-crest-throw_1.jpg?v=1793353202
