Most noteworthy amongst their vast series of products is the ‘Tone’ collection designed by Yukitoshi Toda. The trays in this collection are all solid copper but have different finishes. It’s a matter of personal preference which finish you gravitate towards. Each one is special in their own way, which is precisely why they are so fascinating. The undersides are untreated to really show off the copper core of each dish.

Oxidized Copper Dish was curated by Angélique Chmielewski

Designer/Maker

Maker: Momentum Factory Orii

Designer: Yukitoshi Toda

Specifications

Dimensions: 5.0” (w) x 5.0” (l) x 0.6” (h) or 127mm (w) x 127mm (l) x 16mm (h)

Weight: 3.5oz or 99g

Materials: Copper

Details

Made in Japan

Oxidized surface

Underside has a circle left as the original polished copper surface

Coated with beeswax for increased durability

Each dish is hand made and has variations in surface texture and coloring
