Grand Carousel Candle

Grand Carousel Candle in Arctic Snow

The jar alone earns its place on the mantel.

The candle is poured into a glass jar shaped like a carousel, with the detailing picked out in either gold or silver, so it reads as a holiday object before you ever light it. The scent is Arctic Snow: frosted snow and arctic mint on top, blue eucalyptus and crisp fir through the middle, balsam wood and musk underneath, cold and clean rather than sugary. At just over six inches tall it holds its own on a console or mantel where a smaller jar would disappear. Choose gold if the room already leans toward warm brass, silver if it runs to chrome and cool whites.

Burn it through the coldest stretch of the season, then wash out the jar and keep it as a catchall or candy dish.

Styling Tips
Put it out with the Casablanca Brass Candle Snuffer, and keep the Poetry Apothecary Match Bottle next to it so nothing on the mantel looks out of place.
